Design Awards

The American Craft Council honored Whit McLeod at the 2004 San Francisco Show with an award of recognition. The craft council recognized Whit along with three other exhibitors as an outstanding figure in craft today. He has been invited back to exhibit in the 2005 show, without submitting to their standard jurying process.

Recycling & Sustainability Awards

Working with reclaimed lumber not only takes stresses off of our limited natural resources, it often reduces landfill waste at the same time. The California Integrated Waste Management Board recognized Whit McLeod Furniture for successful efforts to reduce landfill waste in 1999; and in 2003 California Assembly Member Patty Berg honored Whit with the North Coast Green Entrepreneur Award.
