The Bow Arm Loveseat exudes an understated dignity. A cozy place for one or two—you don’t really need to be in love to sit in it. Steam-bent arms and seat back. Back cushion is hung from the rear posts and ties in the middle—a technique that ensures the cushion keeps its form over the long haul.

MATERIAL: White oak from salvaged wine casks. Quarter-sawn. French oak casks first put to use in 1905. Cresta Blanca winery, Livermore, CA.

FINISH: Hand-rubbed shellac. Fumed in the traditional way with ammonia for a golden tan to dark brown coloring. Burgundy wine staining on legs with a hint on the arms as well.
