Redwood Chair
As long living as turtles and then some. Built from salvaged redwood and based on an early Arts & Craft motif. A tapered mortise and wedged tenon construction (using Honduran mahogany for the tenon) makes it impervious to sun and rain for generations. If Superman had an outdoor chair, this would be it. Knowing him, he’d probably like the swinging bench, too. SIZE: 36"w 26"d 30"h PRICE: $1650 MATERIAL: Salvaged Old Growth Redwood from barns, bridges, water and wine tanks. FINISH: Penetrating oil. Designed to be used outdoors. Wood will grey over time if left to the elements. A loving coat of boiled linseed oil once a year will help replenish the wood. Wax finish available for indoor use.
