Redwood / Copper Clad Table

Designed expressly for our redwood line of seating. The cut corners of the top allow you to navigate easily around it (your knees and shins will thank us). We wrapped the copper top using traditional old-world techniques: each corner joint is trimmed, folded, soldered, and filed by hand for a weather-tight finish. When left outdoors, it will attain a beautiful patina—we should all age so gracefully. Or you can polish it to recapture the “wood-grain patina” we apply before shipping.

MATERIAL: Top: Copper-clad plywood with folded and soldered seams. Base: Salvaged Old Growth Redwood from barns, bridges, water and wine tanks.

FINISH: Top: Airplane-grade wax. Base: Penetrating oil. Designed to be used outdoors. Wood will grey over time if left to the elements. A loving coat of boiled linseed oil once a year will help replenish the wood. Wax finish available for indoor use.
